Then I powerwashed & sandblasted all the parts to prep for paint.

Then I painted everything with "Cast Blast" paint, because I like the look of "natural" metal, but now that's all painted, I'm not 100% convinced I still like it.

The brake assembly, minus the rotor and calipers, fully assembled. I cleaned all the bolts before assembly, then gave everything a final coat of paint. Mostly to get some color on the nuts and bolts, but also to go over any scratches that I may have gotten during assembly. Let me tell you, it's hard to keep that "as-cast" look clean! Yet another reason to go back to satin black!

NOTE: Weeks later, I realized that I was using the ALUMINUM Cast color! After finding/using the Iron Cast color, which is darker, I think I should have went with that.
