I sandblasted and painted the rotor/calipers with Brake Caliper paint. I'm not sure if it'll hold up to the heat, but it's only gotta look good for the pictures ;)

My goal was only to make it look better than rust, so I feel I succeeded in that respect.

I taped off the cylinder and I'm not using the bleeder or that brake line, so I left them there to plug the holes.

(And yes, I sprayed everything AWAY from the car... pointing at the parts car T-bird ;))

I blasted all the grease from around the hub and then hand sanded all the rust and scale from the rotor. I didn't touch the braking surface, I figured that the brakes would take care of that rust. Then I hit it with a degreaser and washed it all off.

To avoid getting paint on the braking surface, I cut a piece of cardboard so I would only paint the non-braking areas.

The finished product!

I will be getting new brake pads, plenty of meat on them, but they just don't LOOK nice! :LOL

NOTE: Of course, the FIRST time I mount the wheel, I scratch up the hub! And after I torqued down the wheel and then removed it, some of the paint came off as well! Oh well, like I said, it only had to look good for the pics, as no one will be seeing it.

It does look better than before!
