Swapping in a set of Disc Brakes in place of the Drums is a straightforward procedue.

Remove the tie rod bolt and the upper ball joint bolt, I loosened the crossmember bolt, but left it in to hold the assembly to the car when I bashed out the other two points. I started out using a tie rod/ball joint separator on the tie rod, mostly because it was the easiest one to get to. A couple whacks with a 5lb. sledgehammer was all it took for that. And a little more effort was required for the upper ball joint, but it was a pretty simple job. I actually spent more time trying to remove the old, crusted cotter pins so I could remove the nuts.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
I plan to keep the manual master brake cylinder and not use the power setup, I took the proportioning valve from the power disc setup, but I will probably purchase an adjustable p.v. from Jegs or Summit in the future.
