The stock u-bolt retaining setup on the Mopar 8 3/4" rear are a couple of little straps that are held in place by 1/2" long bolts. Many don't feel that was a very strong design, so I decided to (finally) upgrade. I had to purchase another rear yoke anyway, as mine was obliterated by the last driveshaft drop, so I figured I'd start fresh.
